2 Best YouTube Rank Trackers(Free & Paid)

youtube rank tracker header

Having trouble tracking your YouTube ranking progress?

Fear no more!

In this article I’ll show you how to track your YouTube rankings with ease!

I’ll show you two tools.

One is free, and the other is paid but cheap and affordable.

So let’s get to it!

Why you need to track YouTube rankings

I just want to touch on this, in case people are confused about the subject.

Tracking your position in the search engine is a good way to check your ranking progress.

Also, if you see a drop in earnings it could be caused by your video(s) losing rank.

Keeping tabs on your YouTube rank tracker is key to maintaining your earnings.

Especially if it’s your primary traffic source!

YTRank.net(Free)

This is a free YouTube rank tracking tool and it’s great!

You can input as many keywords as you want and even choose a country to check from.

It really is a good tool. It’s accurate and fast.

The only downside to it is that you have to check each video manually.

Bummer!

However, it’s acceptable if you’re learning how to rank and want to track progress quickly.

This is what this free YouTube rank tracker outputs when you enter a URL and a keyword.

Overall, I’d give it a 7/10. It would be super handy if you could save searches for later so that you don’t have to copy and paste keywords and URLs all the time.

Check out YTRank!

The next tool solves all of those problems, stay tuned.

SERPLab.co.uk(Cheapest & Best YouTube Rank Tracker)

Ahh! SERPLab!

This is my favorite tool for this.

It’s not free to check YouTube rankings, but it’s surprisingly cheap!

I’ll go over the pricing first for those who are curious.

It’s $5 per month for 300 keyword checks a day! Very inexpensive.

You actually already get 25 checks per day with a free account but only for Google checks. Once you upgrade your account you can start tracking up to 650 YouTube videos for just $5.

This is what it looks like.

You can also check things like volume and competition using this tool too!

What makes SERPLab stand out to me is their simple interface.

Adding new projects is a breeze, you just need to fill out a simple form like this:

As you can see, it’s similar to YTRank!

However, you can track much more. You can make multiple projects and check if you also rank on Google or other.

One of my favorite features is that it checks your keywords automatically.

You can choose to check them as often as every 2 hours or just once a month if you choose to do so.

Overall, SERPLab gets an 8/10. It needs to be optimized for mobile displays and it would be great if we could track channels instead of videos.

For example if I use one channel to upload my videos, I could use just one project to track all of my keywords.

It’s not a deal breaker, just a thought.

Check out SERPLab!

Conclusion

If you’re just starting out, don’t buy your SERPLab subscription just yet. Wait until your profits are enough to cover the cost and then think about it.

YTRank is sufficient for beginners, I’m sure you won’t mind checking your keywords manually for a while!
